Read More Rating - Good Product I use Petmate Fresh Flow filters, but have to change them more often than the recommended month, because I have three cats. I'm sure they last longer for only one pet. They can also be removed, after turning off the water filter, and rinsed well then re-inserted. I do this sometimes when I don't have time to change the filter and clean the water fountain, but I clean and change it as close to once a week as possible. Again, with only one pet, this probably wouldn't be necessary.
