Excellent espresso machine for the price. What it lacks in asthetic appearance is more than made up for it's capabilities. Learning curve may be a bit steep especially if you aren't/weren't a barista at one point in your life. But once you find the right beans, the right grind, the correct tamp, and how to froth milk properly, the Saeco Aroma delivers a consistently delicious--and beautiful (see my posted image)-- cup of coffee every single time.

I actually own the previous model (Saeco Classico, now replaced by the Aroma), but I am so happy with it that I came back to write this review. I have had it and used it heavily for five years. Never once have I had a problem with it, with an occasional descaling it runs as new. The brewing routine is obviously a little more elaborate than for automatic machine, but you get to keep control over all the parameters. The machine itself is quite heavy and rugged, but it lends it a solid, professional look. I have had my machine for a little over a month and couldn't be happier. It is simple to use, easy to clean and makes great espresso very quickly. It's worth every penny!
