Rating - Very Pleased
If you are looking for good quality, affordable cookware, I highly recommend Calphalon Contemporary for the following reasons:
1. No teflon or aluminum in contact with the food
2. Lids fit perfectly. Lids on regular Calphalon and other cookware we looked at were loose fitting, wobbly.
3. Easy to clean with soap and water. Certain foods will leave some discoloration which is easily removed using "Barkeepers friend".
4. "China" is not stamped anywhere on the Contemporary. This meant a lot to us. All other cookware we looked at including the standard Calphalon had "Made in China" stamped on the bottom. ... Read More

I would give this 5 stars if it had a relief hole in the lid. The lid will rattle if you do not leave a crack.
Rating - not excellent, but it's ok
I bought this Calphalon contemporary multi pot just because i needed a pot for steaming vegetables and Calphalon compliments multi pot got a lot of bad rates. So I thought this one should be better considering that it has a lifetime warranty and not only 10 year warranty like the Compliments line has. But no, this pot has the same problems like the Compliments one I read about. The worst thing is the lid. If you boil the water in it with the lid completely covering the pot then the water starts to splash out all over the stove! But the steam should really go back into the pot from the edges and not outside the pot. And also ... Read More
